END-OF-SUMMER BOOTCAMP: Middle & High School Students

SPANISH or FRENCH in Review
Start the school year strong! This class is designed for middle and high school students who have taken Spanish or French before and who want to start the school year on the right foot. This intensive 2-week program will review and reinforce all the basics so the student begins his or her school year ahead of the curve.

Curricular Content:
This program will permit students to review and practice Spanish I and Spanish II or French I and French II content in small groups (no more than 10 students per class). The class format will be learner-centered with a focus on communicating in Spanish or French and gaining confidence. Games and role-play will be incorporated to inspire students and encourage authentic practice in the target language. Basic year one and year two grammatical structures will be reviewed so students are ready and confident to start the new school year.

ENRICHMENT & HOMEWORK HELP: Spanish & French

This class is designed for middle school and high school students who are interested in enriching their active speaking abilities and for students in need of getting extra help with their Spanish or French homework or class content. It is composed of two parts:

Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:00pm - Language Club - One whole hour dedicated to speaking only in Spanish or French, engaging in games, learning Spanish/French music, chatting about fun topics, doing role-play and making sure the students really learn how to speak and actively use the target language in the real world.

Tuesdays 5:00 - 6:00pm - Homework Help - The second hour students pull out their homework from school, while the teacher circulates and helps students on an individual basis, either answering questions or reinforcing the homework content through conversational practice.

AFTER-SCHOOL CLASSES FOR KIDS - AGES 7-10

These fun classes are designed to inspire young minds and give children a love of learning a second language. Classes are conducted in the target language and involve games, music and targeted play so children are actively using the language they are learning as they interact with their teacher and fellow classmates.

Schedule: Thursdays 4:00 - 5:00pm starting 9/15/11

French Level 1

Chinese Level 1

You may book a professional instructor to come to your home (or our school) and teach your child one-on-one. Whether it is to get ready for the school year, or enrichment tutoring we can help. Here is the basic information:
